These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from AEL Industrial through our website, by phone, email, or other accepted sales channels. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
1. About AEL Industrial
AEL Industrial supplies industrial fasteners and related products to businesses, tradespeople and other customers throughout Australia.

2. Products and Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, images, pricing and other information are accurate.
Product images may be illustrative, and minor differences in appearance, packaging or colour may occur.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product specifications and confirming that a product is suitable for their intended application before purchasing.
Nothing in these terms excludes any guarantee, right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
3. Orders
Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
We may cancel or decline an order where, for example:
- A product is unavailable.
- There is an obvious pricing or listing error.
- Payment cannot be processed.
- We cannot reasonably deliver to the supplied address.
- We reasonably suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the applicable amount.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
Any applicable taxes, delivery charges or other charges will be displayed at checkout where applicable.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout or otherwise agreed with AEL Industrial.
We may change our prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted, except where permitted by law.
5. Delivery
Delivery times shown on our website are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and any information reasonably required to complete the delivery.
Delays may occur because of traffic, weather, carrier delays, access restrictions, incorrect delivery information or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
6. 1–2 Hour Express Delivery
1–2 Hour Express Delivery is subject to availability and must be confirmed with AEL Industrial before the customer selects this service at checkout.
Customers should contact us before ordering to confirm that 1–2 hour delivery is available for their location and requested delivery time.
Selecting and paying for the 1–2 Hour Express Delivery option without prior confirmation does not guarantee delivery within 1–2 hours.
Where express delivery was not confirmed beforehand, we may contact the customer to arrange the next available delivery time or another suitable delivery method.
Delivery times may also be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, access restrictions and other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
7. Next-Day and Standard Delivery
Next-day and standard delivery estimates are based on normal operating and carrier conditions.
Business-day estimates generally exclude weekends and public holidays unless otherwise stated.
A delivery estimate is not a guarantee where delays arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
8. Receiving Deliveries
Customers should inspect their order after receiving it and notify us as soon as reasonably possible if products are missing, incorrect, damaged or appear faulty.
Where delivery instructions authorise goods to be left unattended, responsibility for loss or damage after delivery may pass to the customer to the extent permitted by law.
9. Returns and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law.
Change-of-mind returns may be subject to eligibility requirements, including the condition of the goods and packaging.
Nothing in our Returns & Refunds Policy or these Terms of Service limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Product Use
Customers are responsible for selecting products appropriate for their intended application and for following applicable installation requirements, instructions, standards and safe work practices.
Where product specifications identify particular substrates, installation conditions, tools, capacities or limitations, products should be used accordingly.
AEL Industrial is not responsible for loss caused by incorrect installation, misuse, modification or use of a product outside its stated specifications, except to the extent that liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Availability
Product availability may change without notice.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we may contact you to offer an alternative, arrange a backorder where appropriate, or provide a refund for the unavailable product.
12. Website Use
You must not misuse our website or attempt to interfere with its operation, security or functionality.
Website content, including AEL Industrial branding, graphics, product photography and original written material, may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission, except where permitted by law.
13. Promotions and Discounts
Promotional offers, discount codes and special pricing may be subject to additional conditions.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions:
- Cannot be exchanged for cash.
- May have an expiry date.
- May be limited to selected products or customers.
- May not be combined with other promotions.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AEL Industrial is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from misuse or incorrect installation of products.
However, nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
15. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances and whether a failure is major or minor, customers may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, refund or compensation as provided by law.
These Terms of Service should be read subject to those statutory rights.
16. Privacy
Personal information collected through orders, enquiries and use of our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy laws.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version published on our website at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that order, subject to applicable law.
18. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth laws.
